Bechstein is one of the select instruments in the top echelon of pianos hand-made in Germany. This instrument was restored with the following:

-new damper stop rail felt
-new hammers
-new front rail punch felts
-new hammer rest felts
-complete regulating
-fine voicing
-refinished satin black case

The piano plays extremely evenly in regards to touch and tone. The action is light and responsive which is a trademark of Bechstein pianos from this era. The bass is amazing on this instrument even taking into account its length.

This is a classic, European instrument, which has been meticulously restored. If you appreciate the quality and sound of these vintage instruments, you won't be disappointed.

Ownership: We moved the piano from California to Houston in September 2013, and it has been regularly played and meticulously maintained in our home since that time.
